Are the thermoses and lunchboxes guaranteed?
Every products are built to last and we ensure every product is held to the highest standards for quality and food safety.

Except for our glass products, all Black+Blum products purchased through our website or authorised re-sellers have 2 year warranty from date of purchase against any manufacturer's defects.
Damage caused as a result of the following conditions is not classed as a manufacturing defect, and will not be covered by our warranty:

• Damage caused by abuse or negligence;
• Standard wear and tear or colour fading;
• Staining caused by strongly coloured food/spices;
• Melting or warping caused by overheating;
• Products that have not been used or maintained in accordance with the Care Instructions.

The glass bottles are excluded from the 2 year warranty except in the following condition: you received your purchase and found to your great disappointment that your product has broken somewhere between our place and yours. In that case we will replace it free of charge if you notify us within five days of receipt (please have your camera ready to snap a picture of the bottle and the cardboard box it came in).
If the bottle broke after that time, then unfortunately, it won’t be replaced for free. Though our glass bottles are made of durable borosilicate glass, it still can break if dropped or chipped.
Are the thermoses and lunchboxes leak-proof?
Our lunchboxes and thermoses are leak-proof, but it's important to ensure that the product is properly sealed. Make sure the edges of the base and the silicone seal on the lid are clean and dry for a secure, airtight seal.
What does BPA-free mean?
BPA-free products have no trace of Bisphenol-A, a substance known for its ability to transfer to food and drink. Bisphenol A (BPA) is a chemical compound used mainly in the production of polycarbonate (PC) plastics and epoxy resins.
What is the best way to use the thermoses?
For best results, pre-fill with hot water for hot food, or cold water for chilled food, for about 5 minutes and empty before you use it (DO NOT overfill your flask). Leave sufficient space at the top to fit the lid. The top of the flask is wider than most liquid flasks, therefore you can heat your food to the maximum temperature possible to have optimal heat retention. Lid must be hand-tightened but without extra force as the extreme temperatures will make it more difficult to open your food flask.

From renewable and biodegradable cork, which is an excellent thermal insulator, to borosilicate glass, which is resistant and safe for various applications. Stainless steel 304 - 18/8 is another durable choice, 100 per cent recyclable and with excellent resistance to corrosion. In addition, the brand combines recycled and sustainable wood with polypropylene or TPR, offering a durable and environmentally friendly solution.
